Differentiation of Rare Earth Elements in Coal Combustion Products from the Handan Power Plant, Hebei Province, China

As a potential source of REY (rare earth elements and yttrium), coal its products have attracted much attention. In this paper, we aimed to study the enrichment differentiation rare in fly ash with different particle sizes promote full recovery utilization ash. Our objective was focus on concentration feed combustion from Handan Power Plant. We particularly focused distribution relation sizes, as well state occurrence (affinity), by applying stepwise chemical extraction performing examinations using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD). The results show that content is affected mineral composition ash, more easily enriched slag fine than coarse general, decreased decrease size whereas increased It found solid follows: light (LREY) > medium (MREY) heavy (HREY). This indicates decreases increase atomic number. also raw undergoes no obvious change (residue organic/sulfide-bound iron–manganese-oxide-bound carbonate-bound exchangeable state).
